FAQ

Common Questions

It is a professional contractor website plus the pieces that make the site more useful: Google Business Profile tune-up, review request kit, project photo gallery, local SEO foundation, contact form setup, hosting, SSL, and ongoing updates.

Through Labor Day, I'm running a 10-Slot Summer Build: $295/month with no setup fee and a 3-month starter commitment. After that, it's month-to-month. The summer offer is capped at the first 10 contractors who sign up. After Labor Day or after the 10 slots fill, the No Setup Plan is $295/month with a 12-month agreement, or the Flex Plan is $695 setup plus $295/month, month-to-month after launch. You approve the live preview before paying anything. For most of my clients, the cost works out to one extra job from a customer who found you online.

You could. Most of the business owners I talk to already tried. The problem isn't building it, it's making it look professional, keeping it updated, and making it actually rank. A site that looks thrown together hurts your credibility. No WordPress plugins. No page-builder bloat. Fewer things to break. Faster load times. I handle everything so you can focus on your business.

No. The price you see is the price you pay. No setup fees, no surprise charges. The only other cost is your domain name (roughly $10/year). I can purchase and set it up for you. That's a recurring annual cost, but the domain is always yours, no matter what.

Yes. The Grand Slam offer covers a standard 5-page site (Home, Services, Service Area, Project Gallery, Contact). Need more? Extra service detail pages, location pages, project case studies, or custom sections are quoted separately based on what you have in mind. Just send me a message and I'll send a quote.

Yes. The Google Business Profile tune-up is included in your monthly plan. I clean up basic business info, services, service areas, website link, photos, and review link so your profile is working with your website instead of against it. Most business profiles are either incomplete or set up wrong, which means you're invisible in local search results. Out-of-scope work like ongoing GBP posting, reputation management, or fighting Google verification or suspension issues is quoted separately.

No. I do not guarantee a specific number of leads or calls. The goal is to make your online presence more credible, clearer, faster, and easier to contact. Referrals, Google visitors, homeowners, GCs, owners, and property managers have a better reason to trust you and reach out.

Anything routine fits inside your monthly plan: text changes, photo swaps, service updates, contact info changes, gallery updates, small layout adjustments, and review additions. Bigger work is quoted separately. That includes full redesigns, paid ads, ongoing SEO campaigns, blog writing, professional photography, automated review systems, complex CRM or scheduling integrations, logo and brand identity work, multi-location SEO, and large directory cleanup.

No. I build a live preview first. You review it on a real URL. If you like the direction, you approve it, choose your plan, sign, pay, and then I finish the final polish and launch. If you do not like the preview, you owe nothing.

That is exactly why your site matters. Referred customers still Google you before calling. Your website should make that referral stronger, not create doubt.

Because you see the finished site before anything goes live. I build it, send you a real preview link you can pull up on your phone, and you tell me what to change. No wireframes, no mockups, no "just trust me." If you don't like it, I fix it. You're never locked into something you haven't approved.

I rebuild it from scratch on a faster, modern platform. Your domain and content carry over.

Most sites launch within one week. Complex projects may take two.

I keep it simple. I need your business name, service area, main services, contact info, any existing website or Google profile, and whatever job photos you have. If something is missing, I'll help pull it together during intake.

You always own your domain, logo, photos, copy, and customer data. Pages by David retains the website code, templates, and design system used across multiple client sites. If you cancel, the site goes offline and I hand over all your content. No hostages. If you specifically want to own the code outright, that's available as a one-time buyout, quoted separately.

Depends on your plan. The Summer Build starts with a 3-month starter commitment, then goes month-to-month with 60 days written notice. The No Setup Plan has a 12-month agreement, then 60 days written notice. The Flex Plan is month-to-month after launch with 60 days written notice. Your domain, content, copy, and assets are always yours.

That's the whole point. Every site I build is structured so Google can find you, understand what you do, and show you to people searching in your area. If you have a Google Business Profile, your website strengthens that listing too. They work together.

It includes the local SEO foundation: fast site structure, page titles, service/location copy, metadata, schema, image optimization, and Google profile connection. I do not guarantee rankings, and I do not pretend a new site magically ranks overnight. The goal is to build the foundation correctly from day one.

Send me a message. Most text and photo changes are handled within one business day. New sections or bigger updates take longer.

Your site runs on Cloudflare, the same infrastructure behind some of the biggest websites in the world. It doesn't depend on my laptop being open. Your domain, copy, photos, and customer data are always yours. If something happened to me and you wanted to take the site to another developer, the code-buyout option lets you do that, quoted separately.
