Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 29, 2026
1. Who We Are
Pages by David ("we", "us", "the Company") helps home service businesses get more Google reviews. We send review requests and follow-ups to their customers on their behalf, respond to reviews in their name, and report on the results. This policy covers how we handle information on pagesbydavid.com and in the course of providing that service.
2. What We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is everything we collect:
Contact form submissions
- Name, email address, phone number, and your message
- Submitted voluntarily when you fill out a form on our site
- Processed by Formspree and delivered to our email inbox
Analytics
- We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool
- Plausible does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not collect personal data
- We see aggregate data only: page views, referral sources, country, device type
Theme preference
- We store your light/dark mode choice in your browser's localStorage
- This stays on your device and is never sent to us
Free Google review report requests
- Business name, your name, mobile phone number, and email address
- Submitted voluntarily through the form at pagesbydavid.com/free-review-report
- Used only to prepare your free report and follow up about it by phone, text, or email
Advertising
- We run ads on Facebook and Instagram (Meta) and use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to see which ads lead to a report request
- If you submit the free report form, your email and phone number are shared with Meta in hashed (scrambled, one-way, non-reversible) form so Meta can match your submission to the ad you clicked
- We do not share your name, business name, or the contents of your report with Meta
3. What We Don't Collect
- We do not use tracking cookies beyond the Meta advertising pixel described above
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone except the third-party services listed in this policy
- We do not collect payment information. All payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details
4. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit through our contact form is used to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Follow up about our services if you've requested it
Information you submit through the free Google review report form is used to:
- Prepare and send your free report
- Follow up with you about it by phone, text, or email
- Measure which ads led to the request, so we can spend our advertising budget more effectively
That's it. We don't use your information for anything else.
5. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate our website. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, DDoS protection, and Turnstile bot verification on our forms. Cloudflare processes server logs (IP addresses, request data) as part of normal web infrastructure.
- Plausible Analytics: privacy-focused, cookieless analytics. No personal data collected.
- Formspree: form processing. Receives your form submission and delivers it to our inbox.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): we run ads through Meta and use its Pixel and Conversions API to measure ad performance. If you submit the free report form, we send Meta a hashed, non-reversible version of your email and phone number so it can match your submission to the ad you clicked.
- Calendly: if you book a call after requesting a free report, Calendly processes the scheduling details you provide (name, email, chosen time).
- Stripe: payment processing for clients. We never handle or store card information.
- Google Business Profile: for clients, we post review responses to the business's Google Business Profile on their behalf, with their authorization.
- Our messaging platform: sends review request messages, and receives replies and opt-outs, on a client's behalf. It processes the customer contact details a client provides.
We also look at publicly available business information on Google (name, address, category, rating, review count) when researching whether a business is a fit before we contact them. That information is already public, and we do not publish it anywhere.
6. Text Messages We Send for Clients
The core of our service is asking a client's customers to leave a review. Those messages go out in the client's name, to people the client has served.
- Who we message: only the customers a client provides, or customers of a completed job. We never message anyone from our own lists, and we never message the same person for two different businesses.
- What we send: a short request to leave a review, and at most one reminder.
- Opting out: reply STOP, or reply at all, and the sequence ends immediately. Opt-outs are permanent and we honor them the moment they arrive.
- Consent: the client is responsible for having the right to contact their own customers, and warrants that in our service agreement. If you received a message and believe you should not have, contact us and we will remove you and tell the business.
Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell, rent, or share the phone numbers we message, and we do not use them for our own marketing.
7. Client Data
When you become a client, we collect the information needed to run your review engine: business name, contact details, authorized access to your Google Business Profile for posting responses, and the customer names and contact details you provide for review requests.
Your customer list is used for one purpose only: sending review requests and follow-ups on your behalf. Customers can opt out of messages at any time and we honor every opt-out immediately. We never sell, rent, or share your customer list, never use it for our own marketing, and delete it on request when the engagement ends.
Your client data is stored in our project files, email inbox, and the platforms listed above. We do not share it with anyone except the third-party services needed to deliver the service.
8. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are kept in our email inbox until the inquiry is resolved or the conversation ends naturally.
Client data is retained for the duration of the service relationship and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return or need files.
9. Your Rights
You can request that we:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 5 business days.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our site, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notifying you.
